Hi my father is a contractor and he has been doing it for more then 35 years. His name is Kirk Carnevale. You may have heard of him or you may not have. Before somethings were said about him on this site such as him not getting back to some people but he really tried and sometimes he couldn't because he was really busy. Hes sorry for all those people that he did not contact again.

He does most of his work outside such as siding, windows, roofs and more. Most of his work is in Aston and Brookhaven but he does travel around for jobs too. I just want to let people know that if you need any work done to your home to contact him at 610-494-7624 and he will surely contact you ASAP, also he is a very skilled worker and brings tons of experience to any job that he takes on.

Also you can email me with your name and number and I could give it to him to contact you. My name is Kirk also and I am very excited to hear from those of you in need.

Got stopped by the Border Patrol coming back from S. Padre Island. A quick set up on a highway headed North.

But what have our(your) Legislators done to stop it.

It looks like we need to enjoy these next 3 days. Because by Thursday rain showers arrive. Then on Friday just a awful steady to moderate rain, even thru the day on saturday. Then the whole storm might turn into a nasty noreaster by Sunday. seems like we can never catch a long break. But atleast its just rain and not snow.

G...the lacrosse store was moved to the far end and Bruce took over the old store. Given that the place is STILL packed....my guess would be he takes the entire building over in the not too distant future.

I still think an Olive Garden in town would be a great asset. The one in Springfield is PACKED from open till close. The next closest is Delaware I believe.

BROOKHAVEN � A $2,500 fine has been imposed on the borough by the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) relating to an incident that occurred at the borough�s sewage treatment plant in October 2009.

Borough Engineer Eileen Mulvena, during Monday�s council meeting, said an electrical issue occurred resulting in the failure of the pumps at the treatment plant. The overflow line was used to push the flow through the pipes, but because DEP was not notified, a fine was imposed.

�The correct plan was utilized and there were no ramifications, but because DEP was not called and the incident was not reported, the borough was fined,� said Mulvena. �The law requires that even if a situation has the potential to cause problems, it must be reported. Because it was not, it was determined that there was a violation of the Clean Water Act.�

The Clean Water Act was enacted in 1977 and further enhanced the 1972 Federal Water Pollution Control Amendments, the primary law governing water pollution, which established goals to eliminate the release of toxic substances into U.S. waters. The Water Quality Act of 1987 took additional steps to ensure the safety of water sources.

Have you been to the redone Cocco's Pizza and Sports Bar? What a great job! Owner Bruce is getting all the new large screen TV's in place this week. It will be a great meeting place for the community. Kids are welcome and the parents will enjoy the new menu. They even have a small meeting area now for family or small groups to sit together. What a great place!
Drinks prices are below the norm and they use some of the best ingredients. Of course, sports both local and natiional are a highlight. Nice place in Aston to go for great pizza.
