Quite a bit of excitement the past few days. Another pair of eagles has entered the area and there seems to be a fight for the nest. After several attacks over the past few days it appears the male has held the fort and the female may have been injured in a fight according to the crew on the ground that watches daily. Word has it the PGC picked up an injured eagle a few miles from this nest thought to be the female who laid the eggs.
If you rewind to 7:15 am you can see the latest attack.

I suppose the battle is over. Looks like the intruders took over the nest this morning. Bringing in new sticks making it their own. The eggs are buried in the foot of snow Hanover got during the past few days. New beginnings.

Lots of activity at the nest over the weekend. Territorial battles and injuries to the gal who claimed the nest two weeks ago. The tribe on the ground has many pictures and some live video of the fights. Since Sunday the new gal on the block has been nesting a few hours a day and we anticipate she may lay yet this year. Stay tuned and enjoy!

Lots of activity again yesterday with strangers showing up at the nest. Here is a screen shot I grabbed of a Juvenile and adult looking for table scraps. The breeding season is over for the area and there are a lot of new Eagles passing thru the lake.
