Weapons violation: A 12-year-old student at Lenape Middle School was charged with a weapons violation after police said he brought a large kitchen knife to school on Jan. 13. The knife was not used to threaten any students, police said.

Criminal mischief: Jeremy Marthers, 23, of Doylestown, was cited for criminal mischief Saturday at 1:11 a.m. after police said he punched a picture at the Freight House Restaurant, breaking the picture and its frame. Marthers was also cited for public drunkenness.

Purse stolen: A purse was stolen Jan. 3 from a vehicle parked in the lot of the Bucks County Free Library. The purse contained several credit cards, a cell phone, a checkbook and $40.

Cars entered: Police reported a numbers vehicles had been entered over the weekend of Jan. 14.

A resident on the 100 block of East Ashland Street reported that someone entered two unlocked vehicles parked in his driveway. Both vehicles were rummaged through, and approximately $15 in coins was removed. During the same time frame, vehicles on South Clinton and North Church streets were entered. Police said loose change was stolen from one of the vehicles.

Disorderly conduct: Michael McGrath, 24, of Chalfont, was cited for disorderly conduct on Sunday at 12:15 a.m. after police said he created a disturbance at a South Main Street restaurant.

Theft: An employee of Central Books reported that someone stole her purse from behind the register area of the store on Tuesday afternoon. The victim reported that a customer requested her assistance at the rear of the store. As she was assisting him, another individual removed her purse from the register area. The purse contained the victim's identification, Social Security card, a debit card, a checkbook, a pay stub and approximately $16.
