It is embracing that these Council people don’t see the common sense in this! It is also embassering how Mr. Stamis and Bill Howell can say 80 signatures aren’t sufficient, when I provided the proof Of all 87 signatures and was backed up by the Chief of Police that only 7 lived outside of Parkside!
Here is what’s happening
1. It was advertise for 30 days
2. Only 1 person came down to a Council meeting and opposed it.
3. 7 or more residents have been at these Council meetings in support of this.
4. The Chief Of Parkside spoke for the 3rd time why we need this.
4. Mr. Stamis and Mr. Howell don’t think that 80 signatures aren’t enough.
5. Mr. McCullum left the room before I had the chance to ask questions ( Daily Times)

6. If 80 signatures aren’t good enough for this petition, then they should ask themselves how come it was good enough at election time when running opposed?
7. Here is another question they (council) should ask themselves they stated that they are 2300 residents in Parkside, well why do less then 300 vote for you? It pretty much tells the story about the petition huh?

For me personally I ‘am very concerned for the safety & the future of Parkside so I listen to what people have to say and spoke upon it, and I will continue to do so.
I will also like to state and I know Council looks at these blogs, that this was NEVER about ME this is for Parkside residents and you should listen what the majority had to say on Ordinance 495.
Just remember that $954 dollars of Parkside residents tax payers money and 12 months on Ordinance 495 was for NOTHING!
And again Thanks to Council President Purcival, Mayor Gorden, Chief Egan, Ms. Jackie Barlow who were in support of this ordinance from the beginning, and to all the concerned residents who sign the petition.
