Hello GoParkside.com members. I would like to introduce the Friends of the Aston Public Library to all of you on this site. The Friends organization is separate from the library, but our primary purpose is to support the library through fund-raising and by increasing awareness of library services. See our mission statement below for more information.
We are a small but industrious group, and we are always seeking new members who share our goal of seeing our local library prosper so that it can serve the needs of our community. Please PM me if you are interested in joining.

Friends of Aston Public Library Mission Statement:
The purpose of The Friends of Aston Public Library is to build a closer relationship between the Library and the community through raising community awareness and involvement; by fund-raising for activities, acquisitions and programs that are in excess of Library budget; and by supporting the Library in its efforts to fulfill its literary, educational, technological, community and cultural purposes.
