Whoever thought that the computer you purchased, six, four, or even two years ago would be outdated. A computer recycling event will give you an opportunity to clean out that closet and dispose of your old computer responsibly.

Our Residential Computer Recycling Events will coincide with the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events on Saturday, April 24, 2010; Thursday, September 16, 2010; Saturday, October 9, 2010. Along with residential Household Hazardous Waste, CPU’s printers, scanners, monitors, keyboards, mice, power cords, laptops, fax machines and portable televisions (no consoles) will be accepted at these one-day events. For a list of hazardous items that can be brought to an event, go to:http://www.co.delaware.pa.us/recycle/hhw.html
It should be noted that these collection events are not for businesses looking to recycle. Businesses should visit our Area Recycler webpage for a company that can help meet your recycling needs

All Events are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine

There is a maximum allowance of 3 computers and/or televisions per vehicle.

If waiting for an event isn’t possible, sites that currently accept computers for recycling for a fee are:

* Staples
* Office Depot
* Best Buy
