Since burning a blue light is becoming a tradition. I figured I would put some info out that has not been covered very well by the news media. Since I am a backer of the police, I am against people who have murdered police officers, fired upon, or assaulted police officers while they are on the job. I am sure the rest of you in the blue light crowd feel the same as me.
So let me fill you in on a guy named Van Jones. Van Jones is a Communist. I'm not saying this as a joke. He really is a Communist. He once was a member of a Socialist/Marxist group that is an outspoken and strong supporter of cop killer Mumia Abu Jamal. But this gets even better! He is also closely associated with President Obama. So much in fact, that President Obama appointed this man to be the "Green Jobs Czar" for the Whitehouse.
On Sept. 5, 2009, Van Jones resigned his position at the Whitehouse. Some of you may or may not know this. Like I said, the news media did not cover this very well. Mr. Jones resigned over a comment he made at a press conference. He referred to Republicans as "a**holes". Here is the exact quote:
Responding to a question on why Democrats are having trouble moving their initiatives through Congress while Republicans seemed to be more successful when they were in control, Jones replied, "The answer to that is: They're a**holes. That's a technical political science term. And Barack Obama's not an a**hole. I will say this, I can be an a**hole. And some of us who are not Barack Hussein Obama are gonna have to start getting a little bit uppity."

For those of us who follow politics closely; Van Jone's appointment to the Whitehouse was not a surprise. President Obama has had past associations with other people of questionable character. People who have put cops in harms way. For example, the man William Ayers. Bill Ayers was a member of a radical 1960's domestic terrorist group (Weather Underground) that bombed a New York City Police Station, among other things. Bill Ayers participated in these bombings. President Obama has a long time political and professional relationship and connection to Bill Ayers.
