We're governed by morons.

"Similarly, when reporters asked about how the bill would be paid for if the Affordable Care Act funding was removed and some other taxes were not raised, McConnell demurred.

“Well, It just got launched yesterday,” he said, never answering the question.

“We’re going to have plenty of time to look at it,” McConnell said. “We’ll be looking at all aspects of it.”

He continued in that vein.

“We’ll looking at the whole proposal as it moves through regular order in the House. We’ll have ample time to answer all the questions,” McConnell said."

I think they always go ahead and answer any and all questions before researching ,talking about or debating the issues . Before Obama care the posit was that 82 % of the American people was satisfied with their health care insurance coverage, providers and doctors . Let's all pretend that the affordable care act didn't throw the whole country into a little bit of chaos . We can all live the big lie together.

For six years, Republicans said over and over how Obamacare was bad, and they could do better. Six years they had to work on it. Then at long last, they announce their replacement. First question: "How are you going to pay for it?" Answer: "Uh.... hey look over there!"

Can't help but notice you're much more forgiving than you were eight years ago. The economy had just collapsed in 2007-2008 when the new president took office.

Compared to now, when things have been going pretty darn well for years.

This is the crux of the argument.

And the rest couldn't get it or couldn't afford it, and were going broke paying out of pocket. 18% (if true) is a big number.
